The 2019 SUP Season is Here!

Dear Friends of the Sea,

It is with great excitement that Paddle Nantucket is launching onto the water this coming Monday, June 17th. This year is our 5th consecutive SUP season and we can’t wait to be bACK on the beach and getting you bACK on the water!

This year we have a new SUP yoga teacher: Kerry Hanan, who comes to us via Tampa Florida. Kerry is a 20-hr certified yoga teacher Certified Holistic Health Coach  and did her SUP Yoga certification with our friend Gillian Gibree of Paddle into Fitness.

Kerry will be joining us the first week of July and taking on most of our public SUP Yoga classes this year. Which means Caitlin will be more available for private lessons + tours and private paddle parties, outside of our regular class schedule.

Kerry's path towards yoga and holistic wellness began in 2003 when she first discovered Hot Yoga. She was immediately hooked on the "yoga high", fascinated by its potential to strengthen and heal the body, mind and spirit. After a few years of practicing Bikram, Barkan and Hot Fusion Yoga, she was inspired to deepen her knowledge and understanding of yoga in order to share her passion with others. 

In 2012, she received her 200-hr certification (Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and Ayurveda Therapy) in St. Petersburg, FL. Since then, she has completed additional trainings including Jimmy Barkan's Level II/III series, Missy White's Hot 108, Empower Movement Advanced Training with Kelly Green/Paige Held of Yoga Joint and 

SUP Yoga with Gillian Gibree of Paddle into Fitness. Kerry is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and holds a business degree from the University of Miami. Through yoga and nutrition, she aims to support people to improve their health and quality of life in a 'holistic, yet realistic' way.

Kerry's teaching style is calming yet challenging and empowering. Students in her classes can expect a fun, fluid flow with an emphasis on mindfulness and breath. Follow on instagram: @kerryhyoga

Monday 9:30am :: Beginners SUP Yoga

Tuesday 8:00am :: Beginners SUP Yoga with Kerry (starts July 9th)

Wednesday 8:30am :: Exclusive SUP Yoga for the Great Harbor Yacht Club

Thursday 8:00am :: Beginners SUP Yoga with Kerry (starts July 11th)

Friday :: 9:30am Beginners SUP Yoga

Saturday :: 10:00am Beginners SUP Yoga with Kerry (starts July 13th)
